Project Scope
Project Overview
The Diversity and Inclusion Training Program at South Balance aims to establish a culture of inclusivity by equipping employees with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) throughout the company. The training program will consist of an initial foundational module for all employees, followed by targeted, department-specific training that addresses diversity practices at different customer journey stages.
Project Outcomes
Reduced Departmental Divide: Improved understanding and empathy across departments will reduce conflict and promote collaboration, resulting in a more solid structure.
Employee Inclusive Culture: Develop and improve certain staff members who can be resistant to change because of subconscious prejudice or ignorance.
Empower Leadership: Administer and show an awareness of the basic principles of inclusiveness, equity, and diversity strategies.
Target Audience
When designing a training program for South Balance employees, it's important to take into account the participants' diverse backgrounds, locations, and educational levels. With 76 remote employees spread across the US, Canada, and Europe, in addition to offices in New York, New Orleans, and Milan, the training program needs to be inclusive and flexible to meet the diverse demands of the workforce. Given that the majority of participants, who are between the ages of 36 and 40, have at least an associate's degree, the training can build upon their basic level of education. To ensure successful participation and program completion, the time commitment challenge is an essential issue that needs to be managed. In order to resolve these worries, the training is reasonable to be brief yet thorough.
